Walter Leck is the CEO and Founder of Leck Waste Services. He founded the company in 1972 and since then has grown the company from a one truck operation serving his hometown of Newtown, to more than 50 trucks serving Bucks, Montgomery, Lehigh and Philadelphia counties in SE Pennsylvania and New Castle County in DE. Walter also owns and operates Target Equipment Services Corporation, a company that specializes in the sales and service of municipal solid waste and recycling equipment.

As a founding member of the Pennsylvania Independent Waste Haulers Association (P.I.W.H.A) in 1991, Walter has worked tirelessly in promoting the interests of all independently owned and operated waste hauling companies in Pennsylvania. An advocate for the private waste hauling industry, he has worked closely with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and other local municipal agency’s helping to introduce legislation that promotes independent waste hauling businesses in Pennsylvania. He has served on the board of this organization as vice-president for seven years and as the president for the past 18. Walter has also served as a member of the Bucks County Solid Waste Advisory Committee since 1995 and previously as a member of the Newtown Township Environmental Advisory Council for more than two years.

In his spare time, Walter enjoys riding in one of his hot rods or classic cars and collecting automobile memorabilia.
